June - Anything Goes

Good morning and welcome to our June challenge, as always we have a fabulous sponsor and a really easy theme this time round................

********Anything Goes*********

But the easy theme still means you need to play by the rules, we are a stamping challenge so must see a stamped image which reflects the theme as the focal element of your artwork , this means:

Stamping must be the central point of attention and interest

We are pleased to welcome back Visble Image as our sponsor with a fabulous £25 store voucher for our lucky winner.

Visible Image Here at Visible Image our stamp designs are unique, original and different… we love to stand out! From arty images and inspiring quotes, to super cool background stamps, we know you will enjoy creating with our deeply etched clear photopolymer stamps, made here in the UK.

And as always some super inspiration from the Design Team..........................

May challenge

Good morning and welcome to our May challenge, Spring is such a wonderful time of year so we have a theme to compliment the season.................

********Close to Nature********

So many options here, flowers, trees, wild animals and insects, butterflies and birds, in fact anything associated with the wonders of Nature and the great outdoors which surround us every day.

Please can I remind you we are a stamping challenge so must see a stamped image which reflects the theme as the focal element of your artwork , this means:

Stamping must be the central point of attention and interest
We are thrilled to introduce a new sponsor this month Chocolate Baroque, their wonderful rage of stamps really compliment this months theme so do pop over to their web site and take a look and also watch out for them on Hochanda TV.

Chocolate Baroque is a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley Wharton. Our resident artist, Sue Page, works from her home in Hampshire where she is inspired, amongst other things, by the natural world, botanical art and early 20th century illustration.

We design our own range of natural rubber art stamps from Sue's hand drawn originals, complemented by typography from Lesley.  The rubber stamps are made in house, by David, to our very exacting quality standards. And nothing gets past his eagle eye!

We are pleased to welcome Rachel as this months Guest Designer, she has made a lovely sunny canvas to share with us.
