September challenge - Things with Wings

Good Morning to you all, I hope you are ready for a new challenge which this month is..............

******Things with Wings******

A popular one I am thinking with so many options available, butterflies, birds, fairies and so much more.

As always you can enter up to three times, combine with other challenges, all we ask is that as our name suggests we do want to see some stamping as a focal element of your work, entries not fitting that requirement may well receive comments from the DT but not be eligible for the prize and Top 3 spots.

We are pleased to welcome back Crafty Devils as this months sponsor who are offering a £35 store shopping voucher to this months lucky winner.

Crafty Devils are one of the UK’s leading paper craft specialists with over 10,000 card making, scrapbooking, stamping and die cutting products on line. We aim to bring you the latest high quality products from all over the world, supplying quality branded products including Spellbinders, Marianne Designs, Molly Blooms, Tim Holtz, Ranger, Docrafts, Papermania, Promarkers, plus lots more at the lowest prices around and FREE postage to all UK postcodes for orders over £12.

Before we move on to the work from the Design Team I would like to introduce you to our new DT Joan, she has been a regular entrant to our challenge and has also been selected as a winner and we are so pleased she agreed to join our happy team. I know you will be inspired by her work.

Now onto some inspiration and once again the girls have pulled out all the stop and come up with some stunning pieces of artwork, as has our Guest Designer who this month is Dora who has made this beautiful card.................

And here's what the rest of the team have come up with, do pop along to their individual blogs and see that they have used to create their artwork.............

Inspiration from Eret

Good morning.   I hope you all had a good weekend. Here in the UK Midlands the weather has been a bit changeable, with wind, rain, sunshine and lots of rainbows!
Today we have some inspiration from Eret who is sharing two of her favourite creations from the past year.  Over to Eret.......................

Here are my two favourite projects from last year.

I chose first one because it was really interesting to figure out how to put it together and I love the effect from the different embossing powders. They give a look of worn leather. I always enjoy making flowers and  adding them to my project. I shared this suitcase in June. There are also link to the full instructions and the template. The best thing about this suitcase is that it can also be used as a box.
My second project is from February.

It had to be an easel card. This is my favourite card fold type. On this card for the first time I used  embossing powders to colour the flowers. They don't look very realistic but I still love the result. It's fun to experiment. You never know what will come out.
Thanks Eret! What great projects!  Our Anything Goes challenge runs until 3rd September, so there is plenty of time left to enter.
