Regarding Stamping Sensations

A difficult post to write but one which is necessary due to certain Social Media comments and accusations which have been made with regard to how the challenge is run.

The aim of the challenge since March 2010 has always been to provide a forum for crafters to share their artwork along with the opportunity to win prizes provided by a wide range of generous sponsors.

The Design Team, many of whom are long standing members give their time on a voluntary basis, do not receive any form of inducement and each month provide artwork as inspiration for our entrants and take time to comment on those entries.

I and in turn my team will not be intimidated by gossip or false claims about how the challenge is run. If any crafter has an issue about how the challenge is run then they are welcome to send me a personal e.mail from the link on the challenge blog sidebar. Social Media and closed formats are not the appropriate place and I on behalf of the challenge, my team and sponsors will report to the appropriate body, taking into account GDPR regulations, any such dialogue of which I/we have or may become aware.

Our aim is to provide a friendly environment for crafters and to this end we will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour or comments and regularly review those and our rules to ensure all remain in the best interest of our entrants as a whole.

More Beautiful Blooms

Good morning to you all, time for some mid month inspiration for this months 'Beautiful Blooms' theme which runs until Wednesday 2nd June so still plenty of time to join in.

Our sponsor this month is Chocolate Baroque offering the winner a choice of an A4 stamp set or stamps of equivalent value.

Chocolate Baroque is a small independent art and craft company, based in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in County Durham in the North-East of England and is owned and run by Lesley and David Wharton.

We design our own range of natural rubber art stamps from hand drawn originals, complemented by typography from Lesley.  The rubber stamps are made in house, by David, to our very exacting quality standards. And nothing gets past his eagle eye!

May - Beautiful Blooms

Good morning and welcome to our May challenge with the theme of......

******Beautiful Blooms******

It couldn't be more simple could it, flowers and beautiful blooms any colour or style, we would love to see them all. Please just remember the focal element of your creation must be hand stamped (or digital) to reflect the theme, that means flowers which must be stamped, not purchased pre made additions.

This months lucky winner will be able to choose an A4 stamp sheet or stamps to the same value from our lovely sponsor Chocolate Baroque who have two live shows on The Craft Store (Hochanda) on Friday 7th May at 9am and 1pm. Lesley will be showcasing different stamps in each show.
