Good morning and welcome to our April challenge and this month we have a nice and simple theme.......

Please can I remind you we are a stamping challenge so must see a stamped image, sentiment or quote as the focal element of your artwork. You can enter up to three creations but please note: If we do not comment on your entry it will be because it does not follow the theme, qualify under our rules, or because we are asked to sign in or provide additional data to comment on third party hosts particularly Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, Splitcoast Stampers. We do not want to be rude but we do want to be fair to those who do follow the rules.

PDA one of our regular sponsors is back with a fabulous prize of a £40 voucher to spend in their store.

Good morning and a huge thank you for all your wonderful entries to our 'Close to Nature' theme.

When setting challenge themes it's always had to know how they will be accepted by our entrants and I will admit I was a tad worried about this one..............I need not have been as you really embraced the theme with some wonderful entries.

And with so many super entries it was an extremely difficult task for the Design Team selecting their four favourites and it was a very close run thing, but after counting the votes I can announce our winner is..................

Stampendous P107

Good morning Peeps, Brenda here with our mid month inspirational post where the Design Team are sharing their "go to stamp" and it's always a bit odd when it comes round to my turn and introducing myself, but here goes. 

Most of the team and those that know me could have predicted the stamp I would use for this post, it's been a standard joke for many years that when in doubt Stampendous P107 Agapanthus Cluster will pop up, I even use it in class sometimes as it remains a popular choice. 

I can't really tell you what it is about it that has such an appeal, but it's probably the sheer simplistic elegance and the fact it fits just about any style of card and works particularly well alongside an inspirational quote and and stands out so well against an inked background. And it's wood mounted which are by far my preferred choice, I know they are bulky and take up room and I guess if I was not fortunate enough to have such a large craft room I might have to re-think that one.

It's been my favourite stamp for many, many years and was one of the first I bought. This might be cheating a bit as I have also used Penny Black 2695J Dance, Sing, Love which is my all time favourite Penny Black stamp, but I needed a sentiment on the card as well !!

So here is my offering using not only my favourite stamp/s but also Pan Pastels which are my go to medium of choice and I especially love these two colours together.

And if you needed any convincing how much I love the stamp, the above photo confirms.......now I know it's sad that I have two Stampendous P107's but I bought a second one a few years ago just in case it was ever discontinued..............and two is so helpful at classes !!

Good morning, it's the first Sunday of the month so that means we have a new challenge theme for you and this month it's...............

Nature covers so many elements in our everyday lives and it is so often taken for granted what Mother Nature provides: flowers, plants, wild animals, breathtaking scenery and landscapes, the ocean, wildlife and so the list goes on. We are sure you will all have your own takes on this lovely theme and what better time of the year than Spring. And if you get really stuck then lets see lots of blossoms and flowers.
